Is it possible to insert a line break in ‘Say’ block?
e.g.

How to make a Sprite tell something like this

Data 1 =
40
Data 2 =
35

Presently the entire message comes as a single message.

Try pressing space a million times? I haven't tested it, but that might work.

I have tried spaces. But output is unpredictable. An eye dropper for text color may also be added !
A fancy suggestion !

Well, the maximum width of the text box is about 16 characters, so if you use enough spaces to fill up that range, then you should be able to mimic line breaks…? Maybe?

To be more exact, the maximum width is the length of the following text block:

say [abcdefghijklm]

So you can try using that block as a template / “ruler” to measure how long you should make the series of spaces.

Thank you very much - ‘amylaser’. Now I know that the measurement is 16 characters. I was also thinking on these lines as a solution for the ‘Say’ block as it is now.

But let us jointly try to convince Scratch team to give us this !

I am proud and immensely grateful to Scratch team for giving such a wonderful Creative tool. I am confident that they WILL be able to bring this change - a sort of mini - rich text editor !!!!
