Agreed with @mtech22 - it's not possible, maybe with a famous Scratcher's alt, but anyways, not possible. You'd have to be very lucky.
I'll ask a mod to move this to QaS because this is a question about Scratch.

You can definitely get it but it would be very time consuming.

1. If you follow a lot of people, many of them will follow you back. You can follow a limit of 10,000 people. If 20% of them follow you back, then you’ve got 2,000 followers! Just be aware that this is extremely time consuming and if you wanted to follow 10,000 people over 2 months, you would have to follow 167 people a day.
   
   
2. Helping out in the forums is an excellent way to get followers. You can answer questions in the QaS forum, welcome new Scratchers in the New Scratchers forum and get involved in shops in the Requests forum. Again, this is time consuming and you’d need to have hundreds of posts before a significant amount of people follow you.
   
   
3. Get on the front page. If you get on the front page, people will view your project and you will get a load of followers. This method really depends on luck but if you make good projects, you have a better chance of getting on the front page. Here are some suggestions on how to get on the front page:
   - Find out who the front page curator is. Ask them to curate your project.
   - Create a good project that has potential of getting a lot of loves or remixes. It may then get into the Top Loved or Top Remixed row,
   - This may be controversial. Hold a colouring contest. Colouring contests take very little effort to create and have an excellent chance of getting into top remixed where lots of people will see it and then follow you.
   
   
4. Do follow for follow and let people know that you do it. Mention it on your profile and your forum signature.
   

Be aware, that getting followers is usually a ‘slow burner’ and you usually have to dedicate many months or years to build up a good reputation on scratch. I still encourage you to try the methods I mentioned above and there is a possibility you could get 1000 followers in 2 months. Good luck.

I think being active in the community is a good way to get followers: like if you talk to many Scratchers or look at their projects, then they might follow you. It's also kind of just luck, because once you start getting famous then it leads to more followers, so you end up getting more famous and so on

Well, he/she has already gotten 64 followers in their first two months on scratch. That is very good for a new scratcher and I think that they can get some more with little difficulty.

Start a pyramid scheme with follows as the currency.

Many users have. The user jet-blue has even followed over 10,000 people: https://scratch.mit.edu/users/jet-blue/following/ . The following limit used to be higher but it was lowered recently.

-Make content that is funny
-Hop on trends
-Make a lot of projects

Make a ton of generic platformers. I would not recommend this, as the overall quality and originality of the community is more important than a single user's follower count in any case, but quite a few accounts have done the “100 followers in a day using platformers” challenge.

If you want a legitimate way, I'm sorry to say that there probably is none unless your original account has thousands of followers. Even if you did a ton of f4f, it's difficult to get that many people to f4f with unless you're already well known.

The month is based on Earth's moon, called the Moon, which has a synodic period of around 29 ½ days. We can use Neptune's moon, Neso, with an orbital period of 26 ⅔ Earth years, so you have over 53 years to get 1000 followers. That over 300 times as much time!

So yes, by Neptune months, it's perfectly possible.

This is very useful. A few months after I joined Scratch, someone following 10000 people followed me. I looked at his profile, it shows that he joined a few days ago and he had 1800 followers. I used to follow him but unfollowed him a few months later.

Make griffpatch follow you. One of the people he follows got a lot followers quickly.
Or be Sterlon, who make funny animations. After he got featured, his follower count spurred from 250 to 16000 in 5 months. That's a lot from what you asked.
