Oreo Shop 2.0 Application & Training Forum

• Applicant have at least a basic understanding of the forums: How they work and etiquette.
  
• Applicant must be a ‘Scratcher’, as opposed to a ‘New Scratcher’.
  
• Applicant have their application accepted in order to start training.
  
• Applicant must pass training before trying to ‘take’ or ‘claim’ orders at Oreo Shop 2.0.
  
• Comments must be turned on on the applicant’s profile.
  

• Within a week of the applicant submitting their form, I will comment on their profile notifying them of whether they have been accepted into training or not.
  
• If the applicant’s application was not accepted, they may re-apply after two weeks.
  
• If the applicant’s application was accepted, they will become a trainee. They will stay a trainee for as long as I see fit.
  
• If the applicant fails training, they may re-apply in two weeks.
  
• Everything to do with training and how to apply is explained below.

• Applicant must fill out the application at the link provided in the post titled ‘Applying’.
  
• Applicant must not be rude or impatient.
  
• Applicant must have read through Oreo Shop 2.0’s front page and these posts (specifically the ‘Rules and Terms’ and the whole of the post titled ‘Applying’ or they will not be accepted.
  
• If you are reading this, add somewhere in your application the words ‘wood cupcakes’ in that order.
  

Training

• If/When I accept your application, in my comment on your profile, I will specify a date when your training will start and a date when your training will finish. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be on Scratch all-day-every-day, just a bit for a few days in a row is fine.
  
• You will only start training if you have:

1. Applied.
   
2. Been accepted by me.
   

• Training typically lasts 3-4 days.
  
• *Please read ‘Day 2’ down below to understand this section* If a trainee ends day 2 with under 3 points they have then failed training and may re-apply in two weeks of having failed.
  

• How you should treat customers
  
• What to do if you’re stuck on an order
  
• Elections
  
• Anything else

Ordering:
Check the UOC from time to time to see if there are any orders you can do. Make sure to clearly indicate on the forum and on the customers’ profiles that you have finished an order. Please also explicitly state on the forum that you have taken an order. No need to do it on the customers’ profiles.
If you’re stuck on an order, just ask in the forum if anyone can help.

Customers:
You should always treat customers with respect, unless they become angry at you, in which case you may reply for a few posts, but after 5-6, if it hasn’t stopped or been resolved, then please quote their post (snip if needed) and say something like ‘Please can we not flame-war? It is just clogging up the thread and we could get the thread closed. Thanks.’.
If an order is late, please apologise to the customer, similar to this ‘Hello, your order at Oreo Shop 2.0 is complete -link- I am sorry it took longer than your deadline, but I still hope you like it. Thanks for ordering!’.

Hierarchy:
You can read about which positions have which powers in the shop’s forum.
We have elections to determine who will get a certain position. Specific info will be told when the election is called.
Generally speaking:
You have a few days to declare yourself a candidate (you don’t have to).
You have a few days to write a speech.
You have a few days to vote (if you don’t vote you get a strike).
The winners are announced.
