Social Media Links

I think that there should be some sort of social media links somewhere in your profile, project, or in a studio. The feature would only be avilable to users aged 13+ because social media is 13+. On the same topic of social media, there can be a button that can make you tweet a scratch project link somewhere on the project page.
The following social media links should be supported.

- Twitter
- Facebook
- YouTube, a video service
- Twitch, a streaming service
- Discord, a chatting service

Games and studios can have up to 3 social media links linked. Users, on the other hand, can have up to 4 links on their user page. Twitch links can only be linked to a user page, and not anything else. The links must go to a channel, communications server (discord), or profile, and not a certain post, video, or user (discord).
Using any other links (DeviantArt, Instagram, Reddit, etc.) will not be allowed. If any other links are spotted, the user will get a Reminder/Warning about doing that. If continued, they will be banned.
Anyways, this is my opinion. If you want to add on to this, you are welcome to do so.

Stay Safe!

how would this make scratch better education-wise. we dont want little timmy going on twitter because griffpatch is there. Discord isn't allowed whatsoever.

Also I would consider DevianArt safer than discord for little timmy. so why isn't that allowed?

well, discord is already not allowed in the bad word filter because of unmoderated chat.
twitter and facebook? this is a children's website! those also can have unmoderated stuff, maybe less though.

No support

I'm going to close this suggestion as it is technically implemented and rejected at the same time.

This is a children's website, and does not have any educational benefit whatsoever. You can do this:

Social media sites are not allowed, as they have unmoderated chat.
And who stops me from making an account where i say i'm 20? Nobody.
On most of my alts i put “January 2020” as my birth date because i'm too lazy to put my real one. Does that mean i'm a 1-year-old?

Sorry, that's a definite no. Many social media sites have personal information private chat areas - neither of which is allowed by our Community Guidelines.
