Yes. It's pretty much like adding theYeah, it just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of Scratch.that's what's weird about this situation- people don't like a suggestion because they don't want it, but they won't even use it if it does get added, so what's the problem? they could just NOT USE THEM.The thing is, just knowing that it exists in that context makes me feel bad.

[]::control stackblock. In BASIC it makes sense to jump. But in Scratch? Nope.

It's pretty much like implementing self-modifying code here in Scratch.

you don't seem to get that it doesn't matter if it's mere existence “makes you feel bad”. that's a you problem. if it's such an issue, DON'T USE IT.
it seems like you guys are just trying to find some obscure reason to turn down this suggestion

Also, the idea seems pretty confusing to beginners. If it is motion, they might think the actual sprite will jump, instead of jumping through blocks.

Hey, interesting idea - but I think not. This seems like a departure from the tenets of structured coding - kind of heading down the slippery slope towards the “goto” statement and "spaghetti" code.
