hello everyone,

tomorrow (it might already be for you guys) is the four year anniversary of this post about the squirrel emoticon. .

since then, a lot has changed.

the 3.0 editor no longer looks like
scratch 3.0 also actually released,
more and more pages are being migrated to scratch-www,
we got a ton more emojis,
thisandagain is working on other things now,
and more.

but there is something that has not changed…

the non existence of the squirrel emoji. .

now, it's been four entire years where we haven't been able to express ourselves through the squirrel emoji, and i'm not a fan of that.

adding the squirrel emoticon is probably a pretty easy job, although it might have to span across scratch-www and scratchr2.

a promise/agreement is a promise/agreement so you should keep it.

now. everyone who wants a squirrel emoji rise up. we are tired of waiting. we. need. squirrel.

EDIT 3: Although tbh my original emoji looks a little too realistic to be a Scratch emoji; maybe it should be redone in cartoon form if it's gonna make it into the comment system, but otherwise I guess I support lol.
