How many Scratch Team members help moderate the forums?
It's a pretty random question, but I'm curious to know the answer.

Yes, until sometime in 2013 the Community Moderators moderated the mainsite and the forums. However, those users were not ST members. After the program ended, some Scratch Team members' position was, and is called Community Moderator.

Yes, until sometime in 2013 the Community Moderators moderated the mainsite and the forums. However, those users were not ST members. After the program ended, some Scratch Team members' position was, and is called Community Moderator.

I know but uhhhh… Go look in announcments, and the latest Wiki Wednesday…
liFayTheGoblin is active and has the title “Forum Moderator”, but that only shows on the forums.

LiFaytheGoblin only has the Forum Moderator status to post in Announcements.

I'm pretty sure they got that role because they needed to be able to post In the Announcements forum for Wiki Wednesday.

Here is an updated list. It's based on who's on the Credits page and who I remember working with. It's possibly not 100% accurate, but it should be pretty close. Also, fun fact, several users listed here do more than just moderate the website.

as far as i know, 5. three are active. the active ones are harakou, za-chary, and paddle2see. cheddargirl isn't that active here, and i've only seen achouse in the announcements forum.

Test accounts of Scratch Team members do not get Scratch Team rank. There's not much of a reason to have two accounts that have administrative privileges.

I believe cosmosaura is a newer moderator. I must have seen them before, but we recently had a group of several new moderators and I haven't quite matched their real name and face with their Scratch account yet. Contrary to popular belief, moderators don't actually need to be super active in the Scratch community. So if a Scratch Team member doesn't look like they're doing anything, that could be because they're working hard behind the scenes!

Probably other moderators only moderate the website, not the forums.

Oh, my mistake, apparently the OP was asking about forum moderators.

In that case, it's mostly these four:
I wouldn't say cheddargirl is too active — and technically, I'm not active either, at least when compared to Paddle2See and Harakou.

Wrong! A website by CatsUnited says that in the Suggestion forum you have more posts than Paddle2See and Harakou
