What are CountryBalls?

The characters poke fun at national stereotypes and international relations, as well as historical conflicts. Why is Poland colored incorrectly
I think that’s just how they always are (I’m sorta familiar with these, but not exactly really into it or anything)
I’ve seen the upside down Poland and the cube Israel (though never transparent). Also poor Singapore

EDIT: asked someone about this and the response was “ because he just is”
