Heya, I’m Choc, a new-ish member of Strawberry Shop. I joined about two months ago, but I believe I have adequate experience with this shop.
I run one shop, Oreo Shop 2.0, which I have successfully moved from 1.0 about a month ago.
I used to run loads of shops, to name a few:

• Daisy Designs
  
• Choc’s Uploading Service
  
• Starry Sounds
  
• Choc’s Retail Reviews
  

These were very unsuccessful, so closed as a result a month or two ago. I have decided to focus on Oreo Shop 2.0 to make it the best it can be. If you are curious, here is a link to Oreo Shop 2.0 and here is a link to Oreo Shop 1.0.
My experience on the BoD:
I am BoD at Transport Creations, Gobo’s Department Store (I can’t find the link! Sorry!), and maybe another shop which might’ve escaped my memory.
I would be a great Strawberry Shop 2.0 President because I know how to format posts so they look pleasing, I have moved a shop to a different forum before, and I believe I can make some changes to the shop that would improve us greatly:

• Implement a training system - so we know that our workers will be polite, and will complete orders well, and notify customers correctly.
  
• Add a ‘loyalty points’ system - a customer would order, they would collect one loyalty point. If they get 3 loyalty points (order thrice), then they will get an advertisement of anything of their choice on the first post. The points might be called ‘Strawberry Tokens’, ‘Fruit Tokens’, etc.
  

Oreo Shop 2.0 is admittedly not as big as Strawberry Shop, but I would like to get experience with running a large shop as I currently run a medium-sized shop.

Hi, so, I feel super super bad to do this during the election, but here we go. I looked on the front page and there doesn't seem to be a leave form, so I'll just say it.

I'm going to be gone from (mm/dd/yy) 8/12/20 to 8/16/20. I'll be somewhere that most likely will not have a way for me to access scratch, so I'll just see who becomes president after that. I'll come back during the time the BoD will be discussing the transition, so I'll just get caught up there.

So yeah, there you go! Not super crazy long, but I will miss a little bit of the craziness, so I apologize in advance for any confusion I bring back from my trip.

So, after the resignation of Lyrical_Lemon as Second Vice President and PR Officer, this leaves 2 BoD spaces vacant. I am aware that there will be a new president in just 17 days and they will pick a new BoD, but I don't want us to be 2 BoD members light especially during the upcoming BoD meeting and transition. Here are the BoD changes.

• -DancerRJV- will be promoted from Third VP to Second VP.
  
• LydzWinry will be promoted from Assistant Secretary to Third VP.
  
• crossme72 will be promoted to Secretary.
  
• popsyrabbit will be moved to the position of HR Manager.
  
• bananaandchoc1 will be promoted to Assistant Secretary.
  
• FloatingMuffins will be given the position of PR Officer.

Thanks! Being a secetary was hard for me and I was considering resigning so I am glad I dont have too! I think HR manager suits me better than secetary anyway!

So, this is the timeline for the thread transition:

12th August: Result announced
13th August to 20th August: Discuss transition in BoD meeting.
20th August: President-elect creates new thread and adds content to reserved posts over the next few days.
25th August: New thread opens and starts taking orders.
28th August: This thread closes, Muffins ceases to be president and new president officially takes over.

The BoD meeting starts tomorrow and I'll make an announcement in relation to that. Also, I will remain as president until the 28th of August when this thread closes. Dancer will be president-elect until then and will take over on August 28th.
