Maybe, when you click the colour button, it can have a wheel, RGB, and ‘presets’ (the default colour of blocks like motion blue, control orange, etc.).

Great idea. HSB values would do good. And all of them will be placed under the “Custom Blocks” category so as not to confuse people new to scratch.
Maybe we can also sort the blocks by color.

Nice idea, but we might want to add as few as possible because it might clutter the place.

I want to have an option to make custom blocks colorful
I have came up with an idea
Look! There's a small colorful circle there:
If you click that, a box will appear, where you can select the colors for that block!
With this circle, you can make your (custom) blocks any color!

Maybe it could be like the color picker modes in 2.0? You could swap between a limited color picker and a more advanced color picker, so maybe you could swap between the 3.0 color palette and that or sth.
