2-Digit usernames
Welp, i asked this in QaS but i got a lot of views and not many replies, so i'll ask this here, because it's kinda advanced. and because i wanna become an ATer
There are some people like me who joined in 1.4 and have a 2 digit username. They do not have an api, and i decided to do some reasearch about this.
I took 4 users:
me
hi
no
aa
They all joined in May 2013, exactly when Scratch 2.0 came out. That's weird- who would ever waste their time making a buncha 2 letter accounts just because a new version was about to come?
I found out their user IDs by going on their icon's CDN2 page:
Me's ID is 4036
No's ID is 4503
Hi's ID is 2641
Aa's ID is 392
The IDs should be extremely similar, but they aren't. No joined later, Me in the middle, Hi way before, and Aa extremely before.
Then i watched jvvg's profile. They joined 12 years ago, in 2008. And their ID is of 94669, which makes no sense because then these 2-letter-usernames joined in 2007, over 13 years ago in the dawn of scratch.
We know these people joined 13 years ago.
Their join date got reset not to some random day, to the day 2.0 was released. Weird.
Then i watched hi's 2 projects. One was shared in 2009 (after 2007), another in 2011 (way after 2007). Besides that these are other evidence their join date was reset, these dates to to match with 2007. Sure, hi could've logged in to make projects, but i doubt it. Wasit the ST? The servers? Weird.
Other people in the old topic said the servers resetted their join date and eliminated their API because of an invalid username, and i thought it was true.
This happened to it, tv, yt and many, many more, but there are a few accounts with their real join date:
k9, dk and LT have their real join date (They still have no API, they just have their real join date on profile). Which makes it weirder.
And also, i gave all the evidence, as in the other topic i was accused of making up stuff.
So do you guys have any ideas of why this happens? This is supposed to be Advenced, so this is advanced
EDIT: These people appear to have an API here, but it's in another link, and not in the ordinary link like every other user.

hmm i wonder if since the api blocks 2 letter names, the pages use a placeholder date. that would make the most sense to me.

gdpr0000001 is not related. There's a law in the EU that states that every EU citizen can delete all their info online. the GDPR accounts are normal people who wanted all their data completely eliminated. So, their join date was intentionally reset. GDPR's aren't a a bug, that's how they literally work Interesting…
And then we get the test account by the ST gdpr0000001.
The ID is 15680061, that means WAY later than me,hi etc.
But it still appears to be joined 20 years ago.
Misteries over misteries..
After I read this topic, I have the feeling the 2 Digit Usernames and gdpr0000001 things are kind of connected - especially the date bugs.

gdpr000001 was a testing account for a law in the EU called Interesting…General Data Protection Regulation (or something like that) that requires all websites to erase all data for a user on request. Most of the time the account also gets deleted, but sometimes it just resets all followers, following, loves, favourites, etc.

theres also other gdpr accounts (the number incriments) and i'm assuming after maybe the first or second, they are real users who requested data deletion.gdpr000001 was a testing account for a law in the EU called Interesting…General Data Protection Regulation (or something like that) that requires all websites to erase all data for a user on request. Col_Cat228 explained it entirely correctly, that account is used for the General Data Protection Regulation. Not sure why you decided to contradict this with absolutely zero source.No. GDPR is a test account by the Scratch Team.gdpr0000001 is not related. It's actually true: gdpr0000001 is a test for the GDPR feature. Col_Cat228 explained it entirely correctly, that account is used for the General Data Protection Regulation. Not sure why you decided to contradict this with absolutely zero source.Proof

Maybe API thought the usernames were invalid since they had less than 3 letters and gave the users a random join date
