thats the only good thing it could be used for but even then it should be used as training if someone was accepted. and the mod tools can't be that hard to use that there has to be a separte thing for it

This suggestion still has no educational benefit for Scratch.
Yes it does
It's for experimenting
The point of Scratch is to learn how to CODE, not learn what the ST does.

No support, I remember a Scratch Team member saying that they have features that they're not allowed to talk about.

But you're limited to what you can do, only edit posts and other stuff that all the scratchers know about

this is why I should've stayed in the offline editor and not move my way up to Scratch online

“Training periods” are standard for many sites with more complex or larger moderation systems, like Scratch.

It looks just like any other forum. And Za-Chary once said topic 412 is so big that you can't load it.

If a vulnerability was found in the simulator, it could also be applied to the real site, allowing people access to the real admin tools

No it can't!
There's no way you can do that
Try it.

No, a vulnerability in the admin tools, that could allow you to access the admin tools on the real site, as you can study the admin dashboards, and workout how to activate them using the JavaScript console

bruh theres multiple ways it could be applied to the actual website, inspect element lol (soory to any coders if this is wrong I never can seem to open up the console on mac lol) and other things trust me if the bad word detector can be disabled (it can) then trust me there can be a way to add these to the persons console and possibly any expiernced programmars using it for badd.

no support

As all these people said, you would be able to access the scripting commands necessary to work out how to make yourself a moderator on the actual site. This would be incredibly dangerous for Scratch, and would end up with Scratch being shut down (due to data breaches and COPPA violation, the authorities would have to shut down Scratch for good)

No, they won't have access to that.

No, I don't think this really fits in with what we are trying to do here on Scratch. Our goal is to provide a safe place for kids and other beginners where they can create cool things on the computer and share them with each other.
