Is Dark Void appropriate for a VERY mature 9 year old

My dad asked me to check on the rating of a game called Dark Void. Do you think that it is appropriate for a VERY and I mean VERY mature 9 year old?

Come on, bring us season 2 of Stranger Things already. HYPE.

If I were you, I'd wait a few more years, since it's rated T.

Still, I wouldn't for at least two years.

Would your parents agree with that statement?

I looked it up on the ESRB website. It's rated T for “Violence, Mild Language”, and it says the only blood visible is blue, so…

do what makes you happy.
'cause at the end, who's there?
you.

You can't just say that you're mature like that. Acting as if you're extremely mature just makes you seem more immature. I used to act that way, and I regret it.

Yes I can. 1. The worst grade that I EVER got on a report card was B. 2.I go to bed at 8:45 to 9:00, 3. I only play games for 3 hours a day.

Sorry if the following sounds rude, but…

1. That is not a level of maturity, it is a grade.
2. Erm, again, bedtimes do not matter concerning maturity
3. Again, why does that matter?

I'll add one more thing.

Being all cocky about this is not going to get you anywhere in life. It is your parents decision and that is final. Because guess what? Being cocky and boasting is signs of being immature. And to be frank, if your parents really thought you were that mature they would not question the ratings.

*end rant*

I'd just ask your parents.

Pretty much inactive here tbh. Game dev/musician/mega-nerd.

That's the thing. I do not want to seem like I am going overboard with the games I want to play. That is why I am making these kinds of threads

I suggest talking this over with your parents, as the purchase of a game is a decision that your parents make.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.
