Gradient outlines are coming to Scratch (probably this week) thanks to @adroitwhiz (who also made this year's April Fools woobly cat joke):

Ooh, I like it quite a bit! I'm personally a big fan because of the increased graphic design opportunities, part of the reason why I don't tend to use Scratch for graphic design anymore, but I think it is a pretty neat capability. I wouldn't be terribly upset if this didn't exist, but it is a nice touch.

To be honest, it is a really cool feature! The only problem about is that the outline has to be really wide to make the gradients really visible. But anyways, I think it's pretty good!

so it's basically a border but it supports gradients? Cool! But I never make my art in SVE, so… oh well.

Wasn't this already in 2.0?
Either way, I'm not a huge fan of using gradients artistically, but I'm sure someone enjoy.

Makes sense seeing as there's a gradient option for the fill and that this was a missing 2.0 feature

Not a big fan of the way it's used in a lot of places, but if you use right, it turns out quite well:

Really? This is amazing! I don't draw in vector but I find it very useful . I'm very excited lol

I know I haven't done much on Scratch for a long time, but I've used similar features when making PowerPoint presentations and other graphic-related content. When it's used appropriately, I like it.
