However the bad word detector seems to think there is something wrong with this:

What is going on?
I'm interested in knowing why exactly my comment got flagged. What's going on inside the bad word detector?

It seems to have something to do with the f and two consecutive <'s.

Did you make any typos before that? It's entirely possible the bad-word censor found something before you fixed a word.

I have that when I try to type in code to the comments. For some reason, Scratch thinks my helpful comment is bad…
I usually try to use “( )” to prevent it from happening.

The screenshot was taken directly after I hit the submit button. I did not make any changes before taking the screenshot.

It is obvious there's a problem on bot's side.
Either it's the fact that detection of the bot filtering is inaccurate,
Or it's a glitch.
I really dont know to help ya with this problem.
