It's fine! You won't get banned or anything! (unless you bump topics like every 2 minutes or something in which case it would count as spam.)Oh i didn’t know, thanks for saying. It was already on the first page of the forums lol bump.
Bumping should only be used after 24 hours since the last post or after the topic is behind the first page of forum posts.

From a UI standpoint, “_pride_” is much more easier to remember for children. LGBTQ+ is going to mess kids up when they type it, especially with that plus at the end (I actually made a typo the first time around, haha). @Nambaseking01 You always provide a different point of view in a good way! Perhaps “_pride_” would be fine? I understand what you mean about it being “_LGBTQ+_” but aren't there SO many other projects and even ST announcements that use this exact term

I guess so, also as Nambaseking01 said, “_pride_” might beb better for other reasons as well. From a UI standpoint, “_pride_” is much more easier to remember for children. Yeah Yes, I think there should be a pride flag, but maybe not all of the flags, just the general one, because there are so many. So maybe just the rainbow one.

No Support.
What Scratch *really* needs is support for normal emoji. I'm fairly certain the reason they don't is because they don't properly support 4 byte UTF-8 characters. This is why emojis break the forums and don't work in comments.
Now, if they were to support proper emojis, that immediately lets people use the Rainbow Flag Emoji and Transgender Flag Emoji because both of those are within Unicode.
Also just not having support for 4 byte characters is a bad idea in general. At some point Unicode is going to have to allocate space in that range for much more important characters than Emoji. It's like supporting TLSv1.3, HTTP/2, modern compression methods and strong preferred encryption ciphers, are they a necessity right now, no. Will it make keeping the site from breaking further down the line much easier? Oh yes.

Anyway, for the most part, I'm kind of against implementing proprietary “”“emoji”“” that aren't really specific to a site. The Scratch Cat Comment Emotes are cool and fine, but considering that the Unicode Consortium has already ratified emojis related to LGBT stuffs (in particular, Rainbow Flag Emoji and Transgender Flag Emoji, and there's probably going to be more in the future now that the latter is an actual Emoji within Emoji 13) it kinda seems like reinventing the wheel to have native ones for those kinda things on Scratch?
Having proper Emoji support is a good thing. I know some people are vehemently against the usage of Emoji within communication, but love em or hate em, they're a standard within Unicode and the only reason a lot of sites still don't support them is because those sites are running systems that have been outdated for years. 4 byte characters are becoming more and more used, and the vast majority of emoji are 4 byte characters, it's only time until things not as easily dismissable as “it's only Emoji” stop working.
Scratch really needs to have proper support for Emojis site-wide. It'd solve this suggestion, fix that horrible bug that affects the forums and also just be a good change in general.
The only thing I fear is that there's a technical reason they can't support 4 byte characters and that is worrying.
