There already is the barfing rainbow emoji that a lot of people have interpreted as a pride emoji, I think that's enough.
I am trying to be as un-biased as possible on this matter, but still…

If they add a pride flag emoji, then people are going to beg that they add every single flag, religious symbol, or other symbols that mean something to them.
I personally think it's fine to have the cat emoji I mentioned earlier to be on Scratch, but there is no need to add the pride flag.
Considering the amount of controversy already on Scratch, I don't think the ST wants to make it worse, and add a I am being respectful ST controversial symbol.
So no, I don't think this is a good idea.

I'm seeing people say that this might be controversial, and I suppose that could be true, but it's at least worth considering. It could be really positive.

I think it’s an amazing idea! And if it’s the rainbow flag, that stands for all of lgbtq, then we won’t have to worry about everyone wanting the flag that represents their sexuality

I think it’s important, and we might be on our way to representing everyone, whether it be the LGBTQ+ community, black users(BLM), or anyone else, this could be our first step towards an even more inclusive scratch(as you know there are some bad people on scratch ).

Yes, I think there should be a pride flag, but maybe not all of the flags, just the general one, because there are so many. So maybe just the rainbow one.

I don't think that the rainbow-barfing cat should count. I actually find that kind of offensive when people say that it's the same thing as a pride flag because that implies that the pride flag is comparable to barf. I don't think we need every single pride flag, just the general rainbow flag works.
