Progress so far:

@–DarkEdge– created an great stickman for us to work with. @pcardine created a little animation so we can get started. @pcardine created a scrolling background and added the stickman with animation to it.


What we are working on:

@pcardine will work on controlling the stickmen. When you click on them, a circle should surround their head and when you click, they should go there. I also want it so when you double click, all the men (of that type) will be selected.

@deboicreator will work on creating the user interface for the game. For now, we can keep it simple. It will be in the bottom left hand corner, have ten options for soldiers (might change this later) and a cool down animation after you buy them. We will decide later if we want the menu to scroll with everything else.

@–DarkEdge– will work on ether more characters (see below for list) or he will work on the terrain. We only really need one terrain for the game. Kinda deserty with rocks and maybe some weeds.

It is a game where you attempt to unite multiple tribes who all worship and use different weapons. What you do is you fight them one at a time and if you win, you have the ability to use them in the next fight. Play the game to understand.

I see you just joined scratch! Congrats! Sure you can join!!!! So, have you played the game? If so, could you make a simple stick man walking animation??? I think I can start working on some of the code with that!


Edit: Sorry! Just realized you only agreed to be the artist! Do you mind being an animator too? Also, I might promote you to the Lead Artist! I just need to see some of you work first! Thanks for joining!

Sure! I am going to get started on programming the moment we have some characters to work with! The animations should be smooth and dynamic. That means, not just stiff leg movement, the whole body should lean forward when running. You can simply do your best and we will tweak it if needed! Thanks for stepping up! I know we only have three people working on this, but I think we can do it!

Ok! I would like to do a little animating, because i'm better at coding than animating
