Why can't you remix your own project? I am making updates to my platformer, but if it does not work, Scratch might automatically save and I could forget how to change it back. Check out my project that I need help with here.

You can click on “File” in the upper-left corner and then “Save as a copy”. It will then create a copy of your project.

Hello! Download your project, and edit it with the offline editor or in a separate project. When you're done updating it, go to the real project, go to File, and choose load project from computer. Hope this helps!

There is an exploit that I use that lets you remix your own project. Don't worry, as far as I know, it isn't against the rules.
