There is a variable, which does not exist in my defined variables list, showing up on my stage. Being that it is not in the defined variables list I cannot remove it from the stage. Has anyone else encountered this bug?

Yes, I have had the same issue before at least once where the variable appeared on the project player but was not listed as a reporter in the blocks palette. Try switching sprites, refreshing the page, or experimenting with the options of the variable on the project player.

Can you share the project that you're seeing this in and say which variable it is?

The variable is “hexagon : shape qty. circle”
The value for this variable is on the backdrop screen but the variable is not in my variable list.

Thank you for any help you can provide. This has been a big project and I am hoping to get it up for public use by the first part of August.

This is not a bug. You created a “sprite-only” variable instead of “for all sprites” variable. Such variables only show on the sprite's toolbox (this time, “hexagon ”)

Yep. The “hexagon :” part of that variable name means it's for this sprite only for the sprite called “hexagon”. It will only be visible in your list of variables when you select the hexagon sprite.

Thank you so much. I must have accidentally clicked on the sprite specific variable. That was an easier fix than I expected. You have saved by project.
