Adding the ability to change the default sprite was introduced in 2.0, but removed in 3.0 for reasons I don't know, but it would be very useful to me in my opinion, and once it is set, if you create a new project then the sprite that you set to default would show up instead of the default cat sprite, including all of the costumes and code that was in the sprite that was set to default
This would help…

a. Scratchers to not have to re-draw all the costumes over again

b. Scratchers that to import and export the sprite that they use to start a new project or game

c. Scratchers that have an intro or an outro that they usually add to a project or game

On the sprite page, maybe there could be a button that says “Set to default Sprite” or “set to default”, that would set the default sprite to the one that was open, or when they right-click the sprite on the sprite pane and on of the options on the drop-down menu could be “export to default” or something like that.
