(This is my first time trying to do something like this with the forum, so please excuse all the mistakes xD)

About

Welcome to Bright Writers Online Summer Camp, I place where struggling authors, scriptwriters, etc. can improve their skills in a safe and encouraging environment.
Our goal is to help others use their skills to the fullest, and to learn more about their writing talents! The plan is to let campers (and leaders, host, co-leaders, etc.) pick their word goal (Between 7k-100k), and give writing prompts, a little FUN homework, have activities, etc. There isn't much I want to put int this… I'm not the type who makes a really long desc. xD just letting you know!

One other thing:
Okay to this part is VERY MUCH inspired by SWC so please please please don't say I stole it. If you are a leader of SWC and you don't want me to use this idea, let me know right away and I will get rid of it.

Every now and then, we will have a Writing War. In a writing war, there will be 3 types of attacks you can fire at another cabin. EX: Pretend one of the attacks is to write 7k words in the next 6 hours or lose 600 points (There will be a point system). Let's say that Sun and Moon Cabin are enemies. Sun cabin can go to the Moon Cabin studio and type “Write 7k words as a cabin in the next 6 hours or lose 600 points!”. Then Moon Cabin would have to write that many words in 6 hours. A cabin can only be attacked 3 times.

There will also be Speed Type wars, much like word wars.

Rules and Requirements

Rules for Leaders:

-Be kind and encouraging!
Most likely, the campers won't be the best writers, but you need to support them! Not make fun of their writing or anything like that
-Participate in camp activities
Encourage others to take part in camp activities
-No cussing whatsoever.
JUST DON'T
-Help, don't just criticize writers


Requirements:
-Experience
* You must be experienced in writing, and you must have counseled another writing camp before
* You must have 2-3 writing examples on Scratch or Wattpad
* You must know how to navigate the forum
* You must be active
* Meet all the requirements above? Tell me in your application!

A Little Note from Hat

Hewo! This is hat(@hat6899).

So, this is my very first time doing any sort of camp and posting about it on the forum, so I have no idea how exactly I should do this… well I do- Anyways, I just wanted to tell you guys that I'm super excited to see how this goes and whom I'll be working with!
Also, know that the Co-Leaders and Leaders must be very experienced with doing writing camps. Thank you for your time! Hope you sign up soon!
