How to I put my animations on Youtube?

Scratch 2 had a built in screen record feature for your projects, though Scratch 3 doesn't (yet). To record a Scratch Project into a video so you can upload it to Youtube, you'll have to use some other screen recording software such as OBS.

Or, if you on an computer that runs on MacOS (apple computers rullllll), alternatively, you can use the built-in screen recorder app, or press Cmd-Shift-5, to go into an screen recording menu, or Cmd-Shift-4, for a quick picture.

On Windows 10 you can use Win+Alt+R to record, I think.

you could also use screencastify from the chrome web store, it is free

Screencastify is not really free – it just has a free version, which has some limitations. OBS, however, is free.
