TAS can be cool, doesn't mean it isn't useless and unnecessary.“You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.”The Scratch team should call most TASvideos members to convince scratchers that TAS is a cool thing
You can give all the tools in the world, but some people will still not be interested in TASes. To me, it sounds like the most boring waste of time of making a computer play something for you than just playing it yourself. There are programs readily available for my Super Nintendo emulator that will make the game play itself, but I'd rather play it myself.
Likewise, there are art programs everywhere, and yet not everyone is an artist, which is already an extremely broad subject on its own. Every modern computer comes with a word processor, but only a few are authors. Simply providing the tools isn't enough. You need to somehow convince everyone to do your very silly hobby, and all I can say is, good luck.

This can sometimes be useful or nesscary if nobody can beat a kaizo game, then a TAS can step up and do it.TAS can be cool, doesn't mean it isn't useless and unnecessary.“You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.”The Scratch team should call most TASvideos members to convince scratchers that TAS is a cool thing

“What have you accomplished this X?” This can sometimes be useful or nesscary if nobody can beat a kaizo game, then a TAS can step up and do it.
"Oh, I beat this really hard game!“
”Um, good for you, I gues-“
”Well not beat it myself, I made a computer beat it for me!“
”Oka-“
”Yeah, someone made a game impossible for a human to beat, so I stepped in!"

So, you can code your own TAS the way Scratch is right now, right?sure! it would just be cool to have a TAS Editor in scratch Couldn't you code your own TAS?
A TAS Editor would let you code a TAS in Scratch, right?
So either way, you can make a TAS.

While it might appear that way sometimes from looking at the front page, Scratch is not a gaming system. It's a programming language capable of making all kinds of projects - not just games. The main goal of Scratch is to provide a programming language that is fun to use and easy to learn. Providing a specialized editor for optimizing playing of a specific kind of project doesn't seem like it would help further our educational goals or have broad appeal. So, no, I don't see us doing this. Keep thinking though, and thanks for sharing your idea
