Now we all cry in hole 'cause James is gone… erm, excuse me. I meant to say “taking a break”. His “goodbye” project made it clear he's not leaving, except he's gone.

… Anyway… Yeah I dunno what to do.

Also, YOU TRIED TO SPEND YOUR SUMMER OFF THE COMPUTER!?!?!?! Good idea. I should try it.

He's staying, but he's not going to do anything on Scratch? That's like saying, “I'm not quitting my job, but I'm not going to ever go to work.”

Anyways, with him gone/staying/inactive/leaving/exactly the same, we don't exactly have to be at a stopper. All we need are ideas.

I was working on an RPG (no, not the one we almost had before it became a side-scrolling platformer with real-time battles, and then cancelled, wait, it's cancelled? Really?), and I've come to realize it's a bigger task than I expected. I guess this is why people collaborate.

Or (and this might sound like a crazy idea) we could try to revitalize Evolution (get a new art style, or maybe a new engine, or new gameplay elements, ANYTHING to try to make the time between November to February not a complete waste). No need to let down them- let them think it was cancelled, and then surprise them with a better than ever game

In fact, we could just rebuild it from the ground up again- it certainly would be quite a different game with James being gone/staying/inactive/leaving/exactly the same.

Just food for thought. Pretty darn tasty food, if you ask me.

I don't think I've ever seen someone lecture that long on a forum. New record.

We're pretty much done for. Our leader (James) has left (I think) scratch, so we really aren't up for anything. Which means we aren't taking anybody new.

You should see some Halcyon posts. They repeatedly have posts 2 to 3 times longer.

1. Which job are you taking?
2. What is your skill level at that job? (1-10)
3. How active are you on scratch? (1-10)

1. Programmer/Bug Fixer, but I can really do anything. Put me where you need people the most.
2. 7 at programming, I can do stuff with cloning, cloud variables, created blocks, etc, pretty well. 5 for art.
3. 6. I will probably be on 4 or 5 times a week.

Sorry, this collab is all but dead. JamesOuO had some sort of mysterious “leaving but not quite”, and MrKyurem quit, so you'll have to find another collab to join.

Dang I was such a jerk at the beginning of joining this just by reading the beginning pages in this thread, and I'm pretty sure the rest of you guys silently agree. By the way, as of the beginning pages where I joined you can tell I really have immense trouble understanding things. And also bam now I have a google account, was finally allowed one.

Whoopee.

Guess that makes me a “teenager” now.

Woohoo.

Shame the collab is dead. I would offer to make a spiritual successor to it, but I'm pretty low on ideas right now.

It is true that he has been moderately active. (Yay!) However, we are not continuing BP, for multiple reasons.

I say we leave that for when cloud strings are added. It will make it a heck of a lot easier.
2 things:

1. Then we'll be waiting forever.
2. It really doesn't make it that much harder - just convert from #s to text and vice-versa.
How do you do that!?!?
