Can't Change The Studio Thumbnail

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 12871.102.0, Chrome 81.0.4044.141, No Flash version detect
I made a picture for a studio thumbnail that was 26KB and, according to the scratch editor, 369 by 169 pixels. The studio won't let me upload the picture, saying that “maximum file size is 500x500 pixels and 512KB” BOTH Criteria I met. Why is this, and can you fix it?

oh actually mine didn't say the max file thingy it said thumbnail changed but it wasn't changed… i tried reloading it and it didn't work

me too. the size did not exceed 500x500, it said thumbnail changed and i tried reloading but i did not work
