Other people have recorded their voice, I don't think it should be a problem as long as you're fine with exposing it on Scratch.

There's also a text to speech extension (find it by clicking the blue button in the bottom left corner).

What would be risky about recording voices?
Is your password, like, an audio file?

Tons of people do it. People who've heard you speak before (like your friends) might be able to tell who you are but I don't think there's any way that random strangers would.

Today's technology is not yet advanced enough to track someone down purely based on their voice.

You should be fine.

Your identity will remain safe. That is, until 10 years later when voice recognition gets ridiculously advanced.

So, think about it. Will 10 years later your identity will be exposed and criminals will bust down your doors? If you are that cautious, then you shouldn't do that.

It’s not really dangerous if you don’t want to do it you don’t have to!

It's completely fine to do voice acting. I do it too, never got problems with that. And besides, most animators do it.

Yup, it's fine. Using your own voice for the voice of characters in animations is good if you want the characters to actually have some expression in their voices. The Text-to-Speech voice always sounds really monotonous to me.

I totally agree! For some reason most of the time it doesn't really bother me when other people use it but when I try to use it in my own projects it sounds horrible .

If it doesn't contain Personal info, Parents Allow it if You Have Parents or are <13, and/or Think you Should do it, Saying Yes to all 3 means it's OK!

It's at low-medium-risk, but you're taking your own risk(that's same with take your eye's photo, that may be harmful in ten or twenty years later, nobody can't know). However, you can change your voice, you can use scratch's own sounds editor or another editor or use your own vocal cords for change.
