Downloading Scratch 3.0 on windows 7 does not work!
Why?

I also need alternatives too!

You need windows 10 to download Scratch 3.0. You can download Scratch 1.4 on Windows 7, though!

I have Scratch version 3.6.0 downloaded on my computer and it works fine. I used the direct download link. It might take a while to open the first time.

I tried downloading it as well.
I could not save my projects.

Although it does say it requires Windows 10, you are able to run it in Windows 7 with a bit of tweaking.

i use scratch desktop on win 7 dell inspiron n5050 and i downloaded win ten then went back to seven

You need windows 10+ to download 3.0.
You can try downloading Scratch 2.0.
If that doesn't work, try downloading Scratch 1.4.
Or just use Scratch 3.0 online!

I downloaded it on my previous version of windows 7 (outdated edition) and it worked fine but it isn't working on my latest version of windows 7

You say so? I have done it back in 2019 and it worked. PERFECTLY WORKED.

windows 7 is old outdated and dangerous. there is no reason to support windows 7. this is not a bug.
