Popcap Plants Vs. Zombies
Hey everyone! I thought I'd make a discussion about my third favorite video game, Plants Vs. Zombies!
I'd also like some ideas for plants, zombies, and backgrounds for a new plants vs. zombies; City zombie Country zombie.
The story is this: You and Crazy Dave go on a vacation to New York(US). But when you get there, you find the big apple flooded with zombies! You can't get out, so you have to fight your way up to the top of the university so a rescue helicopter can pick you up. When you get there, Dr. zomboss comes down in the helicopter and unleashes a wave of undead madness! Mwa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!
Erm…
RIGHT, so then you fight him, and fly back to the city… Where you are ambushed be yet more zombies. Phooey.
So far, I have:
CITY
~~~The street, day: (The street is cracked, by the way, so the plants can plant on it.)
Zombies:
-pedestrian zombie
-conehead pedestrian zombie
-buckethead pedestrian zombie
-shopping zombie - carries free plant in shopping bag.
-construction zombie - builds barriers four tiles down. Barriers can be destroyed by damage. Catapults can hit zombies behind barriers.
Plants:
-
-
~~~The street, night:
manhole covers act as gravestones (summon zombies at final wave)
Zombies:
-plumber zombie - comes out of manhole covers on final wave.
-pizza delivery zombie - when killed, the pizza falls on the ground and all the zombies in columns behind it run to the lane it's in. When it's eaten, you have to deal with a whole thick lane of zombies at once.
-steam-roller zombie- re-paves the street so you can't plant plants on it for a time. (like the Zomboni) If a manhole cover is paved over, zombies can't get out on the final wave.
-
Plants:
-75 hover-shrooom - when you plant it it rises up like a UFO and hovers there. When zombies walk under it, it shoots them. Plant food: sucks up all zombies under it and on directly adjacent tiles.
-25 mudweed - Plant on a manhole cover. It fills is with mud and disappears. You can plant on that manhole cover. It doesn't give you a coin though. PVZ2 got that right.
Sorry for the mess. I'm (Sort of) working on it.

Yes, I've played the games…
Plants Vs Zombies (Original); Best one yet. Oh, wait, it's the first.
Plants Vs Zombies 2; Freemium garbage that started out as a good game. It then tumbled down the evolutionary ladder of gaming.
Third-person-shooter-type PVZ game that I dunno the name of; It's a mindless shooter. What do you think? Haven't played it.
Notice a theme, there…?

*Sigh*
I'm sick and tired if having people say Plants Vs Zombies 2 is terrible.
First off: plants vs zombies 2 is more chalenging. Don't say it isn't, because I've completed PvZ1 in 4 days, but I've been playing PvZ2 for months and still haven't completed it.
I'll just let you counter that before I list anything else.

There is actully no end to pvz2 because they keep adding new levels. Also I agree. Pvz2 is not a bad game *Sigh*

That's not what I meant.
Admittedly, the difficulty in the first few versions of PVZ2 was good. I actually earned all the plants and stuff. That was in the first few updates, though. Now, the map is streamlined, and littered with powerful enemies you can't counter, at least very well, with what is given.
I haven't played in a few months, but in some videos of the new world, Dark Ages, there is a Wizard Zombie. That turns your plants into sheep. In these videos, on normal levels, said zombies come in chunks, and can affect all lanes, basically turning your lawn into… sheep. You also lose on the spot without power-ups, and at LEAST an instant kill of a sort. Dropping a few bucks for the Imitater (AKA, what Popcap EA wants you to do) wouldn't hurt.
Oddly enough, in the earlier worlds before that, your given plants to counter powerful zombies. Tomb Raiser? Cabbage-pult. Seagulls, and cannons? Kernel-pult. I can go on and on like this onto the Dark Ages. Jester? Maybe Fume-Shroom. Wizard? Nothing efficient.

Yeah, they should have put in umbrella leaf from PVZ1; it protects all the plants in a 3x3 square around it.

I love PVZ and PVZ 2! I can't play them very much though, because I can only play it at grandma's house.

PVZ 2 is one of my favourite games too. I wonder… do you import them or create them?
