They are moved to a place called the “bin” where all the comments, posts, projects, studios are moved when deleted
Please, do you have any evidence of what you're saying ? I'm curious to know where you heard that.
They might be talking about the forums' dustbin topics.
They are a set of topics where deleted posts are moved to and they might be in the forum scratch.mit.edu/discuss/2 (which is inaccessable and is not linked on the main page)

That's what the GUI is for. Recovering projects!
No. The Scratch Team recovers projects in other ways. And if you empty the trash, the project is probably (after some time) permanently deleted, so even the ST can't recover your projects after that.

In fact, the GUI thing is the development version of Scratch.

Does that me we could potentially find kaj's projects?
Yes, I have found 1 already found one.
Another user has actually found that you can still see a list of all of their followers on this page. There are over 500!

Problem with downloading: they stay on the servers when you empty trash. I guess you need to remove all sprites, sounds, and backdrops from each project… Actually, I'm not sure. Maybe they stay a couple of times on the servers before they permanently get deleted? I permanently deleted this project, on my test account.
It now show a blank project. I assume it has been deleted since then ? Can we please have validation this is the case ?
The deleted project is a blank project, the crash screen does not show up, and the JSON still exists.

Hm, that's odd. I'll try with a non-empty project (maybe deleted projects are just reverted to blank ones ?) and contact the ST about that.
