Copyright questions (Just in case)
Hi! I´m just wondering about the copyrights. I´m making a minecraft game and I´m adding music into it but I´m worried I might get a copyright strike if I do. If I credit the creators for the songs, will it keep my project from getting a stike?
Ignore the new to scratch, I´ve been here for 6 months and I haven´t done any projects right now but I´m working on one

Scratch is an educational, non-profit website, so all content on Scratch falls under the Fair Use policy. This means that as long as you give credit, you have nothing to worry about.

You can include copyrighted songs in your Scratch projects if you give credit, because Scratch is an educational website.

I should add that if you post something on Scratch that is removed by a copyright holder (this is rare but it has happened), you will not be in any trouble as long as you do not attempt to re-share the project with the infringing material still in it.

By the way, it seems like you live in the United States, instead of Europe. So Hi! I´m just wondering about the copyrights. Very, very rarely, it happens that the actual company itself doesn't like projects/studios being made about their assets, so they contact the Scratch Team on it and they take the thing down. But I think that hasn't happened for several years now - and the only one or two times it has happened are sort of like a big part of Scratch history (which only proves, again, that it isn't common).
