Make reporters a dropdown.
I think it is unnecessary to make all blocks drop-downs.
For variables you can right click to change it.
Scratch was designed from the beginning to be edited on PC
Mobile only worked after because they switched from Flash to HTML5
Sometimes when you right click for variables it just goes to a random variable, and does not show the list of variables it could go to.
Also this would not only be for variables, it would include the X position of that sprite and whatnot.
Plus, it makes it more mobile friendly!

This means that you hold the right mouse button too long. Sometimes when you right click for variables it just goes to a random variable, and does not show the list of variables it could go to.

That doesn't fit with reporters at all - seems extremely weird.
“If effect reporters are added then it saves space” <- Maybe the Scratch Team could implement dropdowns for this one reporter because having all of them would actually be overwhelming.
“It saves space anyway” <- I haven't heard of any space issues being in the Scratch project editor - may I ask you how this would at the moment?
“It makes it so that you don't have to right click to change the variable” <- You can delete the existing reporter and drag in a new one..
“It makes it mobile friendly” <- ^^^^

Also, this would make it more work to get a reporter for a specific variable (3 steps instead of one). “It saves space anyway” <- I haven't heard of any space issues being in the Scratch project editor - may I ask you how this would at the moment?

That doesn't mean that PC users should get top priority. I think it is unnecessary to make all blocks drop-downs.

Maybe use lists, or variables `Only for this sprite`? Sometimes when you right click for variables it just goes to a random variable, and does not show the list of variables it could go to.
Also this would not only be for variables, it would include the X position of that sprite and whatnot.Ok, yeah.
Plus, it makes it more mobile friendly!
I just mean that it is not designed for a small touchscreen, it was made on PCs originally That doesn't mean that PC users should get top priority.

Effect reporters? I think I may have meant postition reporters, because there are 2, along with mouse X and mouse Y
I know, but that takes a few extra seconds. If you have to do that a lot it saves a few minutes
It does

-snip-
If you use variables for only that sprite the same could happen, and lists are a bit more complex and take more blocks

Make reporters a dropdown.
You're supposed to do ":: Don't you meanvariables“, not ”:: variable".([foo v] :: variables)And what is “foo”?
[x position v] :: motion reporter // how does it work for this?????????
edit: wait what? in my preview, it showed as an extension??????

Because missingno is a really weird Pokemon foo, why not just use NULL or MISSINGNO.?
