About “Face Reveal” Projects
Whenever someone posts one of these projects, they just see this message: “The Scratch Team has removed this project because it focused entirely on the Scratcher's physical appearance. We have found these types of projects often lead to inappropriate or unhealthy comments.”
I wonder why the Scratch team actually thinks that. Also, about the whole message thing… I don’t know. But is it possible to do those projects with the comments DISABLED???

About “Face Reveal” Projects
Judging by the 2017 announcement that the Scratch Team gave on face reveal projects, that is pretty much all the justification they have for not allowing face reveal projects - I'm assuming another idea they may have had when making this decision was because chances are it's something that the person will regret doing, especially being a children's website.

Even if that project's comments are turned off, people could still post inappropriate and unhealthy comments about it on your profile page and on your other projects.

Just because you see a project that does something doesn't mean that thing is allowed. If you see any face reveal projects you should report them. Yeah I think it is allowed i saw a project on a face reveal

Only if the project mainly focuses on the face, though. If a project happens to have your face and a face reveal isn't the main point of the project, that is allowed, I believe. If you see any face reveal projects you should report them.
