I'd avoid using Chad and Becky. Karen seems fine though because everyone knows of it. Chad and Becky are less heard of but I'm not ST so I don't know.

I see Chad and Becky as normal names, I have no idea what you're talking about.
But karen… “GIVE MY SON $500 OR I CALL THE COPS” XD

Why so? Considering Karen is the insult for “you're the I want to talk to the manager type person!” and is a normal name used against people with that name, why should it be ok? Karen is the only thing that's ok.

Just to give you guys some cultural context:
Chad is a name given to the type of guys who are the sort of masculine, alpha males of society. High attack, average defense, a few special moves, high charisma etc.
Becky was something I'm not too familiar with, but I'm assuming in the context of what PPL said as it being pejorative, they're the female type that Chad is associated with. They are weak to the Chad type and effective against the nerd type if you plan to use them in battle (This is the one I'm most unsure about)
And of course Karen is the “can I speak to the manager”, not light hearted type. They usually have just one special move on them.
I would provide further reading resources since it provides a more full interpretation of those names, however due to the nature of the positions that these names are put in and the NSFS content that such resources contain in them, I won't be able to; maybe that's also an indication to not to really use them on Scratch.

Don’t respond to questions on the forums if you don’t know the answer to them. Simply saying “idk” is not constructive and doesn’t contribute to the thread as it doesn’t give anybody an answer they’re seeking. idk
As for the main question at hand, if it’s pejorative, you shouldn’t use it, even jokingly. Scratch is meant to be a place that welcomes, and is friendly, to all.

It's well-known. Chad and Becky aren't as well known but everyone has seen a Karen or at least knows about Karens. Why so? It would have to depend on the context, I believe. Obviously, it's fine to use them as simple names.
“Chad” and “Becky” have some meanings not as appropriate for Scratch, so I'd recommend against using them. Not so sure about “Karen”.

I'd think using Karen would be okay, but make sure you're not using it against another Scratcher!

They are names. You should probably just use them as names. I'm not sure if the Scratch Team will be fine with using them as their slang on scratch. But just to be safe, you may not want to.

Becky is a normal name too. If you're using Karen or Becky as normal names then that should be fine. I'm not sure about other uses though Karen is a normal name though

What if you use it in a self-depricating way, like “I acted like such a Karen” or something like that?
(me, asking because my main form of humor is just making fun of myself)
