How to: Make Animations (Transitions) Between Backdrops

For the Scratchers who might find this useful, I've made a short script that creates an amazing transition animation between two backdrops - useful when creating slide-shows and how-to projects. Here is the code:

when green flag clicked
switch backdrop to [your first backdrop]
clear graphic effects

when [space] key pressed
repeat (50)
change [ghost] effect by (3)

Then, join the bottom of this script to the top of the one below:

next backdrop
repeat (50)
change [ghost] effect by (-3)

With this code, you can make smooth animations - and it works with sprites too as long as you replace the ‘switch backdrop’ block to ‘switch costume’ instead.
