Ok. This weekend I should be able to set up the server.
In the meantime, we need asses, and ideas.

I'm thinking, but my mind has run blank. Give me a few minutes.

Happy early birthday! Glad to see that you changed your icon.

I'm going to have to leave this project I haven't helped very much and I'm not too interested in it.

Why I'm Quitting Scratch
This is really hard to say. I say this from the bottom of my heart as Scratch has always been held close to me. It's what got me into coding altogether! I just don't want to be involved with the website anymore for a lot of reasons.

Reason 1 - The Community
There are a lot of people on Scratch who I love, including most of you. There are a lot of people who I have trouble with and I don't want to be on the same website as them. I don't like how I have drama with other people on a kid's coding site. Something about it just makes me feel uneasy. I've been browsing old forum posts from 2016/17 and it's actually depressing about how many people have left.

Reason 2 - My Friends
I had a lot of Scratch friends a few years ago. Namely @Fwoobies123 and @AnimalsFun. @AnimalsFun got banned and never came back, and that was also really depressing. The only old friend that I have contact to is @DogeScrather, although we rarely talk. Some friends that I made last year have left Scratch too, though I do have contact with them. It's unbelievably depressing.

Reason 3 - I'm Bored
Scratch is really good for young kids and people looking for a kinda kid-friendly social media. I loved Scratch and still do but it's just getting boring for me. I've been spending more time on social media and I feel like I've grown out of Scratch.

Reason 4 - The Most Controversial Point, The Scratch Team
The Scratch Team is helpful a lot of the time but a large majority of the time they aren't helpful. This is mostly due to things that happened in the far past and recent past that I'm not going to talk about but let's just say the emailing is very ‘questionable’.

I will be coming online occasionally to read my profile messages, as that's the only place where I will be responding to questions.

What does this mean for the future of ShopBux?
I would like @1132262 to take over as head. If he does not want to, then the project will close.

I know this is very sudden but I don't want to continue being a scratcher on this website. I love you all, bye.

A lot of these points are very similar to the reason why I left/took a very VERY long break. I like coding on this website and it has a really fun community, Its more the fact that I have lost interest in this sort of thing. Another reason that I left was because of my mental health. Its hard trying to sort of be around ‘toxic’ people, so to speak, and I am also battling a lot of real life social things.

tl;dr same
Im sorry if you read this

Ok. First off, I suggest we temporarily put Launchpad on hold, as we deal with reduced activity and reorganizing to a new thread.
We should probably work on smaller projects.
I personally am working on a Scratch-based image hoster for the forums, if there's interest in that, we can bring it here.
If you have any projects that you want to work with a team on, that benefit the community, please suggest them.

Just as a poll, who plans to stay active when we transition to the new thread I make?

If we are moving away from launchpad, I'm out. I've been working on SC4 more. I loved working with everyone, but it is time for me to say farewell. If you need anything specific, just ask.

Temporarily, but yes.
We will be working on projects with similar design requirements, though.

You will be very missed here, you basically helped more than anyone put Launchpad into action. I wouldn't leave now, but I have other things to focus on. I'll see how this goes.

Me. With COVID-19 and everything, I will, although I'll have to see how Scratch fits in my schedule when school starts up again.

Oh, goodbye. I will miss you. You've been a great leader for Shopbux, which is part of what has kept me here on scratch for the last year. In fact, I've found myself lying in bed thinking about Shopbux. Goodbye, and good luck with whatever you decide to do in the future.
