Is my HL2 Tower Defense remix appropriate for Scratch?
Near a month ago, I shared a project called Half-Life 2 Tower Defense. It's a tower defense game with people aiming (different types of) guns at the enemies (which some have guns too). The enemies can't shoot either. When the friends shoot bullets, there are no special effects like gunshot sounds, blood, or bullet tracers and the bullets move pretty slow.
There's no blood or dead bodies at all, except for a zombie that has blood all over their clothes. There are death sounds that don't really sound like death (moaning), more like screaming. I do have a gibbing sound when the shotgun pellets hit a human (supposed to be a critical hit sound), but I think I'm going to remove that sound because it was a sound that played whenever you smashed an organism in Half-Life (just to be safe). There are no “body hit” sounds other than that one.
I tried to keep it as appropriate as possible but I'm not sure if it's good enough, which is why I'm asking you guys on whether you think it's okay or not, and maybe what I can do to make it appropriate if it isn't.
If you don't know what Half-Life 2 is, it's a first person shooter game where you rebel against the Combine. The game does have occasional swearing and blood too. In the project's description, I noted that Half-Life 2 isn't really appropriate for kids and that it was why I made Half-Life 2 Tower Defense.
I just unshared it due to second thoughts on whether this is appropriate for Scratch. If you want to “review” it yourself you can look at in forkphorus.

I think you need to remove the zombies and the screaming. I'm not sure if that is enough but those things aren't appropriate.

Thanks for being descriptive and telling the OP what they could do to fix it.Nope. Near a month ago, I shared a project called Half-Life 2 Tower Defense. Forkphorus isn't working for me right now so I can't see it but based off your description I'd say no. Maybe remove the blood on the zombie clothes. As well as the death sounds. The other stuff seems okay but I don't know for sure.

What's wrong with zombies? As long as they are not graphic they should be fine. Right? I think you need to remove the zombies and the screaming. I'm not sure if that is enough but those things aren't appropriate.

I should have said that you need to remove the blood on the zombies. If they don't have blood then they should be fine. What's wrong with zombies? As long as they are not graphic they should be fine. Right?

seems okay but I don't know for sure. Thanks! I just removed the death sounds. I'll see what I can do to replace the zombie with a no blood version. Maybe remove the blood on the zombie clothes. As well as the death sounds. The other stuff

Nope. It's absolutely not appropriate. Death sounds like those aren't fine (you could replace them with something like “oof”) Zombies are inappropriate, and with blood they're just worse. Swearing is not fine. Realistic Guns are not fine. Realistic Gun shooters are NOT FINE AT ALL. So, don't try to share the project again or you might get an alert

Zombies aren't really inappropriate. In my case it has blood on it which is not okay. Zombies are inappropriate, and with blood they're just worse. Swearing is not fine.
I never said the project had swearing, just the actual game itself.

“for a zombie that has blood all over their clothes” - Not appropriate, wouldn't recommend that being in your game.
“There are death sounds that don't really sound like death (moaning), more like screaming” - I know you have removed this, but I'm just saying that this isn't appropriate so it's in your head for the future
Other than that, this seems fine. I really like tower defense games, so you can always let me know on my profile when you officially release it

Zombies are technically dead people who turn into monsters who eat brains, so they are inappropriateZombies aren't really inappropriate. In my case it has blood on it which is not okay. Zombies are inappropriate, and with blood they're just worse. Swearing is not fine.

Zombie is also a classic term for little children. My friends group mostly consists of people younger than me, and we mostly play games like "Epic Zombie Attack - run away from the adults!" irl. I'd say it's fine, as long as you don't go into a detailed explanation on how they originate.

For some reason the project will not work for me on Forkphorus. However, I encourage you to use Contact Us if you'd like to ask about a project you made that you're not sure is inappropriate.
