Wii Sports has way more content than most people will claim it has. The training games almost always go overlooked for some reason and Wii Sports never felt like it was lacking in content. Each sport was simple, but really fun and addictive. I could play Tennis, Baseball, and Golf for hours and not get bored. Heck, they could have made Wii Sports golf into a full-fledged game. If Nintendo wants to sell me a golf game, make it control just like Wii Sports Golf.

Confession: I never reached Matt in any of the sports.

Me neither
I looked to see what level he is in each game, and apparently, I've beaten him in every sport except for Swordplay and Boxing. (Which are his best sports and he's the champion of both.) Matt is actually the first Mii you play against in Tennis, so if you haven't played against him in Tennis, I don't know what happened. (I was just looking here for everything.)

I have, and I can say that I've played it much more than the original Wii Sports. I think it might be because you need the Wii MotionPlus accessory, and even though my Wii Remotes came with it, not all of them do.

Although now it would be a little too outdated, and the 3DS line doesn't have that great of gyroscope controls. The Switch is still current, and its Joy-Con are more advanced in that sense.

Those are all by third-party developers though.
There's no games there that are made by Nintendo.

I am so glad this got bumped up because this is the best topic ever. Wii sports is like the only Wii game I have, and is definitely my favorite.

If I could I would play Wii Sports all day to stay physically active.
Unfortunately, my P.E. teacher is listing actual exercises that we have to do instead.

On another note, I have 3 copies of Wii Sports and I don't know why.
