My favourite genre of rock is 80s Hardcore Punk Rock such as Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Misfits, Bad Religion, Descendents and The Germs.
I'm also a big fan of garage rock like as Black Lips, White Stripes, The Hives and such.

I like post punk and new wave from the eighties.

My favorite group is Metallica. I think it is not metal band, it is rock music.

I also like rock music mixed with classical music or made in classical style

Pendulum counts since they're electronic rock. Or at least their later work.

well it depends. mainly indie rock like foo fighters (if they are not indie rock, then i mean whatever category foo fighters are in) ,but i like pop punk like my chemical romance and that sort of stuff too. but i would have to say (and i really dont care what sub-category they are in) muse is one of my fave bands of all time
