Scratch is meant for anyone at any age, while Discord is for anyone above 13, and it's incredibly easy to change your email age settings. Also, you can give out private info on discord, which could be dangerous.(I thought someone from scratch team would say something by now. )

Discord is a platform which allows unmoderated chat and private messaging. I believe you're allowed to use “discord” if you mean “dissent; disagreement,” though.
