dude, theres a good 67% of the community of scratch that don't know what “dead trend” means. they feel inclined to keep doing it becuase they believe its epic funny even when the joke has been milked dry (which is also why theres a new age team capital)

A famous scratchers changes their pfp to something funny, people in the same group of friends as that famous scratcher also change their pfp (remember the planet trend?), fans all do the same so now it's everywhere, and everyone follows the trend and then it's a big thing and it goes wild rly fast.

Then one of the famous scratchers decide to go back to normal, so a few people go back to normal and then it goes back to normal crazy fast :p

Kind of like chairs except the second part hasn't happened yet and hopefully never will.
