How to collaborate on a project?
Usually people just share multiple projects and the other collabors combine the resources into one project. There is usually a base project in which all the parts are brought into. Also, collaborations discuss ideas and stuff in the Collaboration forum.

Try Skype. You can make a project, save it, then send the file via Skype then wait till they're done. Then when you get the file back, open it, then work on it some more!
