Ok so I just finish spending DAYS on an animation and I made it into a gif like I always do to upload it to scratch….but when I uploaded it, scratch mixed up the order of every frame! The thing is scratch didn't do it with the previous gif I added so it doesn't make sense! I checked the gif over and over again and it was in correct order, so I know scratch is the issue! There is NO WAY I am sitting down and reordering all 449 frames! Someone help please cause I worked really hard on this animation JUST TO UPLOAD IT TO SCRATCH.

go to [scratch and upload it v]
say [ghdrgbshrbfcaerhiik WHAT DO I DO]

I think scratch messed up on this one. It usually happens with big projects.

From this incident, you can learn, to use, the online website, Piskel.

Its really good, and if you want this animation back, either reorder it, or upload all of the animation files to this.

You can also contact Scratch, and try to deal the issue with them. They can probably downgrade you to a prior save file.

Whoa! I wonder how you did to upload 449 frames into a project. I tried with a self-made GIF with 449 frames exactly, and no way to, in the online editor or Scratch Desktop too.
Could you share the project?

Yeah, so I use piskel mostly and it usually works. It might be from several reasons, like the file being too large, or a corrupted file or something.

But how did you get 449 frames onto this?

idk I made it into a gif form (I make stuff in flipaclip) and it gives you an option to add a gif as a new sprite or costumes, or even backdrop if you have one in your files

Well, i succeed uploading single GIF images up to 300(not an animated one), around 340 the upload brokes.
It happens to me in the offline editor too. I think the issue is related to “project.json” file limits(around 5.4 Mb.) But i´m not sure if it is the main problem.

I just contacted them myself, so no need to worry about that


and it isn't the contact page that is blocked, it was the fact that the email that my scratch account goes to is unaccessible on my school device, but my grandmother let me use her phone to access the email so I went ahead and contacted them

That's scratch 2.0. 3.0 might have messed it up.
