Hello guys! This is the forum post that I will be posting in. Please follow this forum, since I will be posting parts here, and making announcements!

If you don’t know me, I’m G, and I’m your team leader for SRW! I love coding, and the scratch community! I’m planning on helping anyone on their parts, and everyone will get an equal part in the project! Tomorrow we will receive the theme! I want everyone to enjoy their time here! When we receive the theme, we will have to think up a team name, related to the theme. Please, if you are done with your part, and someone needs help, please help them! Here is a basic plan for our team

Get the theme on April 2nd

Brainstorm

Assign everyone parts

Work on parts

Submit parts

I submit the project

Brainstorm remix project Ideas

Give everyone there part (Changes are these are going to be smaller)

Turn in those parts

Submit the project

Party! For being on my team and active, you will receive a follow from me! Also I will love 5 of your projects! Also we can have an awesome party!

Then in the first week of may, the results will come out!

Here is a bit about the SRW's 100 point scoring system
We can get 100 points total, and they score both projects!

Original project
10 points are for following the theme,
30 for original project quality,
10 for code
10 for aesthetics (Art
10 for remixability (can the project be easily remixed)

10 are for if the remix follows the theme
10 for that the remix is close to the original project
20 for remix quality
10 for code
10 for aesthetics

20 points for bonus points bad given project (I don’t know what this means and I will ask)

Now onto the bonus and penalty points (These are given from the managers)
Penalty points 0 - -60
Bonus points 0 - 60

Please refer to these when brainstorming and doing your part!

I will be the only one posting here, unless I give you permission, So please don’t post here!

Noice! I love this idea. Also I think the bonus points for bad original project is if you remix a bad project, to make it a good one you will get extra points. Also everyone remember to follow the discussion!

Hello everyone! SRW has started, and the theme is outer space! In the studio, @Illusion705 has made a comment, saying that team 1's leader has quit, and that we can accept some of their team members on to our team! Start brainstorming, of a team name and ideas! Think outside of the box! I have a team name idea already, the asteroids! You can either chat in the studio or on here! I will start brainstorming, and we have til april 4th for brainstorming project ideas! Lets get brainstorming!

So, I like The Asteroids for a name but for project ideas, i am assuming that almost everyone is going to do a platformer and that we should try to do something different. Maybe like a dodging game or a guessing game?

I like the asteroids! And for the project, I feel like whatever we do should have some kind of story, you know? Like, it's not just a guessing game or a dodging game, it's that game with more of a plot. That might also increase its remixability, since people could change up the story. Does that make sense? Am I just crazy?

That's good! I could be like an adventure scrolling platformer, that could be like a choose your own adventure!

cool! I think most of us have agreed on asteroids, so I am going to tell @Illusion705 that will be our name!

Asteroid Dodge? Or something… Orbital Junk? Orbital Meteors?
