I see people talk about scratch easter eggs, but what are they?

What about in people's projects, when they say, Can you find the easter egg?

Sometimes people like to hide something in their projects that you have to look hard for, like an Easter Egg. For example, in some of ceebee's projects, if you type in b-o-o-p, a little message saying “boop!” will pop up.

Easter egg is a common term used to describe hidden content in a piece of media- they're referred to as Easter eggs because you need to find them.

An easter egg is basically a hidden feature. For example, an easter egg in a game could be a secret level or a hidden character.

On April Fools, several easter eggs were scattered throughout Scratch. There was a surprise button in the footer of the home page, the semicolon glitch and the illuminati emoji were back, and searching certain things would make the search results do weird things.
