Support. Could really help with the immersion into a project, since the big, fat cursor typically gets a lot of attention.
Perhaps instead of setting it as a costume we could have an additional tab on top that would allow you to upload an image or browse from a library of built in cursors.
Cursor animation, as well as manual cursor switching would be cool too!
If it becomes “too confusing”, we could hide it as an extension.

switch cursor to [hover1 v] :: looks
hide/show cursor :: looks

Ability to change Mouse Pointers
So I looked up UnderTale mouse pointers so I could give my computer a new look, and then went to a website to test them all out, and then I had an idea.
So what if there was a new block that could set a mouse pointer type, like help, crosshair, pointer, etc. It could be interesting for something like a shooting game, games with hints, etc. Just thought it would be a cool idea.set cursor to [ v] :: looks
SUPPORT!!!
P.S.
this is (a block :: sensing stack) :: custom-arg stack

w3schools documented all the possible cursors in CSS - if anything, these should be implemented: https://www.w3schools.com/csSref/tryit.asp?filename=trycss_cursor
I already posted my opinion on this suggestion before.

I was about to say this would make a user get inappropriate cursors, but if there's going to be a list in Scratch it'll be more appropriate - I got confused.
Yeah, this would be way better than mouse trails and could make story mode projects way better. I think I might use this script for a lot of different projects - but could you please create a mock-up of what type of cursors the ST could add? It could give them a better idea if they decide to implement this.

Scratch 3.0 is in HTML, not Flash. In HTML you can use custom pointers.
What are you talking about CCS just upload a .cur file.

Sorry, I'm not the type of person that usually does this and maybe you are from another country (no racism) but can I adjust your English?
It's mouse pointers, not pointers. And it's also not CCS, it's CSS.
It's why are you talking about CSS, not what

This is getting ignored.
I can see why. I won't say until I'm sure of the facts though.
This is tragic… The ST can be so biased sometimes.

Not needed. Just make a sprite go to the mouse pointerI'm supporting this, because usually there is a little bit of lag, and it makes it difficult to click on things.

No Support.The mouse pointer would probably go back to normal once it leaves the stage; also, that'd actually be a helpful block for custom mouse pointers.set mouse to [empty costume v]::looks

This is getting ignored.Well, yes, I would say we have a bias. We are biased towards suggestions that align with our design goals - and fall within our resources. This particular suggestion would be helpful in improving a few types of projects - but wouldn't change very much the kinds of projects that could be made with Scratch. It would, however, add additional complexity to Scratch and potentially confuse Scratchers who might wonder where the mouse went. For these reasons, the suggestion is rejected. Thanks for the idea though - keep thinking of ways to make Scratch better.
