I have a sprite sheet

My sprite sheet is far too big for the scratch editor but I cannot refuse the sprite sheet because it is one of the best sprite sheets I have ever seen!

Please Help me!

What is a sprite sheet? I have never heard of one.

Scratch can import multiple costumes if the image is an animated gif file. A sprite sheet will have to be “cut” manually in an editor and then each costume imported separately..

Try compiling your project…

My sprite sheet is NOT animated and is 780 x 1920 Not 480 x 360.

Only reply if you know what a sprite sheet Is.

Just choose your favourite image editor!

Yes, however I do not know how to use the select tool in GIMP. Even Though I DO have very much knowledge in gimp.

The select tool in gimp is straight forward. Your problem might be that you have not highlighted the layer you wish to select in. Watch some vidoes in youtube with gimp tutorials about layers.

You probably have too many sprites that take up a space and animated sprites for me just freeze at a point so…

I'm surprised there's no good tool for slicing images. I've already written my own program to do it (for my latest game I'm working on), I can give it to you if you need it.
