That rule is there to stop spammers. New scratchers get 180, because they are new, scratchers get 60, because they have been on for a while and know better.

While it may seem annoying, it is an extremely effective shield against spammers. Also, you can still post plenty of useful stuff with the rule in place.

I'm sorry, but I don't support. Like jvvg said, it's to prevent spammers. Also I think that 60 seconds is a good time.

well, if you complain it may become 120/360! Well, actually it wont, but wouldn't it be worst if it was that? So be glad it's 60/180 instead of double!

I don't support. I've been posting a lot of these forums for the past three weeks and only got the 60 second rule once. If you have to wait to post, check for spelling and grammatical errors. The best I will go is 60/120.

but still, it isn't a great idea (for spammers) spammers could spam more.

Yeah, but it will still be effective, since it's only halved, not cut to a fourth.
