I want to make a cat look like it has a glowing outline. Please help.

Iam not sure you can do that. But idk

Here's how to do it in the “Light Up” project style. It will only work if the background is black. Like at night.

1. Create a duplicate sprite that is only the black outline of the cat.
2. Fill it with a circular gradient that is white in the center and black on the edges.
3. Place your gradient sprite behind your cat sprite.
4. Make your gradient sprite larger until you have the amount of glow that you want.
5. Adjust the brightness of the gradient sprite until it looks just right.


In paint programs like Photoshop, glow is often done by putting a band of semi-transparent light color around an object. But I don't know if Scratch has the ability to handle semi-transparency.
