How many followers is considered famous?

Just wondering if my over 620 followers counts as being famous?

How many followers is considered famous?

You can check the Scratch statistics here to see how much users have registered. If you get maybe a half a percent or more, you might call yourself famous.

How many followers is considered famous?

I like to calculate popularity by dividing followers by following. If you have 1000 followers and follow 1 person, this gives you a “score” of 1000. If you have 1 follower and follow 1000 people, you get a score of 0.001. It negates follows by friends and connections, while magnifying followers from “exposure.” I'd say a score of 20~ is definitely “famous.” I have a score of ~0.93, and almost all of my followers are inactive

Well, it depends.
I have 195 followers, but only around 6 of them seem to care about me. Most of others are either inactive or followed me just because I loved one of their projects.*
*Or anything similarly insignificant.

That's tricky, because 0.5% of 53 million is about 265,000, and even @griffpatch doesn't have that many followers (yet).

As for the main question, I'm not really sure, myself. I have around 4300 followers and still don't consider myself famous.

Work hard on a project to make it good, then share it.
If it gets less than 50 loves, then you're not famous.

How many followers is considered famous?

Though there's definitely a correlation between follower count and fame, I think it depends on a variety of factors, like how many views your projects get within 24 hours of being shared, or how often you get on the front page, or how often you're mentioned by other Scratchers.

Fame is a very complex thing that often can't be quantified that well: how famous is someone with 1000 followers who's joined tons of studios and comments frequently on many people's profiles? How about someone with 250 followers who's been making it onto the front page quite a lot recently? There's also different types of fame. Someone who frequents the forums and answers lots of questions might be well known in that area, but not anywhere else. Someone who manages an important studio might be a familiar name in that circle but not have particularly viewed projects.

I really don't know the answer to that question. I means, I have 100 followers but it was because I was on trending AND the front page at different points of time.

How many followers is considered famous?

I dont think its being famous if you have a lot of followers. (Because some people do F4F and some people have mostly inactive followers) I think its more about how many loves, favorites, and views you have. If all your projects get 500-1000 loves/favorites or more, I would consider that famous.

Also sorry for the lack of apostrophes, my apostrophe key is acting up.

My signature has nothing to do with this suggestion. Please don't necropost. You could've said that on my profile page.

How many followers is considered famous?

I'd consider at least 2500 followers without F4F and 500 loves or favorites on most projects to be considered “famous”.

HyperGamerStudios is not necroposting; the most recent post before them was from April 1st.
I'm pretty sure it's okay to post on a two-day old topic.

If someone necroposts it's because they're not adding anything to the topic. HyperGamerStudios wasn't adding anything to the topic. He was necroposting. I know necroposting generally means bumping an old topic, but I'm pretty sure necroposting also means not adding anything to a discussion. If I'm wrong, PLEASE correct me

So…. does that mean he's allowed to not add anything to the discussion, since it's his? Like I said, please correct me if I'm wrong.

(PLEASE. I'm generally confused)
